The Pitch Zone Experience MLB Tour

CHALLENGE

Create awareness surrounding the launch of the first scripted series about a female pitcher in the MLB.

SOLUTION

The PITCH Zone Experience included the latest pro batting cage technology to give MLB fans the chance to go up to bat against Ginny, the “first female pitcher in the major league” and the star of the new series.

The PITCH Zone Experience went on tour to three California locations: MLB All-Star Week in San Diego, Dodgers Stadium and The Americana at Brand.

After hitting the batting cage, fans had the chance to create a personalized PITCH trading card that was shareable via social media and printed onsite. To encourage consumers to line up to bat official MLB rally towels were distributed at the events.

RESULTS

  • 4,413 MLB fans went through the batting cage and trading card photo op over the three location stops
